Welcome, Hokies! Here is some important information on how the chapter communicates with local alumni:
The Houston Chapter maintains a local e-mail distribution list for timely and detailed announcements. Please email houstonhokies@googlegroups.com if you would like to join or be removed from the distribution list. If you have any questions or need assistance, contact the webmaster.
The chapter maintains a Facebook page to keep members up to date on upcoming events around town. Please search 'Houston Hokies' and request to be added to the list!

Occassionally, the chapter will send via USPS mail, a newsletter or invitation to an event, such as: a trip to an out-of-town football game, a golf tournament to raise money for the chapter scholarship, or a guest speaker event. These mailings are coordinated through the Virginia Tech Alumni Association; therefore, in order to receive them, you must keep your information up-to-date in the VTAA national database. Please take a moment to update your profile at the VTAA website. Instructions: Click on “View and Update Profile”, enter your PID and password and enter your personal information. Do you need an ID or forgot your old password? Click “Get my Alumni PID” and follow the instructions.

With your PID and password, you can also search the national VT Online Alumni Directory to locate your friends and colleagues, provided they too have kept their contact information current!
